Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep which it is sometimes referred to, is a state of deep relaxation between conscious waking and sleep. 

In Yoga Nidra we completely relax the physical body and move on an inward journey of conscious awareness, through a guided meditation like approach. Yoga Nidra is completed lying down, supported with blankets, pillows and bolsters.

At the start of this session we will gently stretch the body to release any tension before resting in a relaxed way.  Sacred sounds from the Tibetan bowls, sansula and bells will accompany us into a place of deeper relaxation as we journey into the Yoga Nidra.

Using the power of both Soothing Sounds and Yoga Nidra we will work through the five layers or koshas of our being, to elevate stress and tension in the body, mind, emotions and energy system, thus creating space for a deeper place of alignment through all the layers of our being.

Yoga Nidra Can:

  • Promote deep and restorative relaxation

  • Release tension through the physical body, thoughts and emotions

  • Alleviate stress

  • Promote clarity of thought

This session is suitable for those who wishes to relax their physical body, thoughts, emotions and clear blocked or stagnant energy. No previous Yoga Nidra or meditation experience is required. This session is not suitable for those with a pacemaker or ICD, or in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Places for this Yoga Nidra with Soothing Sound Workshop will be limited and must be pre-booked / pre-paid.
